First it was TourFilm, the name of our Festival when it began in 1994, on the initiative of Mr. Nicolae Luca. Now the International Film Festival "Document. Art” is organized by the Romanian Film Association "Document.Art” in partnership with the City Hall Otopeni and the Cultural Center “ Ion Manu”, between September 30, 2010, and October 2, 2010. The festival is structured as follows three competitive thematic sections: Art, Ecology and Tourism. The Festival is placed under the auspices of CIFFT, The International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals and UCIN, The Romanian Filmmakers Union. Its purpose is to offer film-makers all over the world the opportunity to show their work in Romania as well as to encourage cultural and economical exchanges.
