Florianopolis, capital of the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, will host the Tourfilm Brazil. 12 categories are waiting for the best tourismfilms: destinations, ecotourism, nautical tourism, hotels, cuisine, adventure tourism, people, cultures and traditions, religious tourism, theme parks, tourist transport (airlines, cruises), sports tourism and 3D animation. The three top finishers in each category will be awarded with a Gold, Silver or Bronze Macaw. The overall winner will receive the Scarlet Macaw. Parallel to the festival, there will be Workshops on tourism, bringing together officials and experts. Flms will be accepted from advertising and media agencies, NGOs, state and local governments, video producers, tourism colleges, private companies, and official departements of tourism from any country.
