World’s Best Tourism Video Voting opens for the travel industry and consumers

Travel industry professionals and customers from around the world are invited to cast their votes for the videos in the CIFFT “People’s Choice” Award that they consider to be the World's Best Tourism Video, ahead of the Grand Prix CIFFT Circuit. Voting is open and runs until 25th October 2020 at https://www.cifft.com/cast-your-vote/ .

The CIFFT “People’s Choice” Award is an online voting competition that aims to let people discover new tourism destinations through video and vote for their favourite. The competition also proposes to call attention to the great potential of travel video marketing in promoting destinations and creating connections with the audience.

In this third edition, 31 films from 16 countries are participating: Austria (4), Bosnia and Herzegovina (1), Chile (1), Croatia(2), Denmark (1), France (1), Germany (1), Japan (2), Lithuania (1), Myanmar (1), Norway (1), Portugal (6), Serbia (1), Slovenia (1), South Africa (1), and Spain (6). The audiovisual productions highlight different tourism destinations, attractions, and unique characteristics.

Alexander V. Kammel, Director of CIFFT said: “With voting now open, it is time to let the customers choose by voting on the videos that are raising the standard of excellence in the promotion of tourist destinations, products, and services. The Grand Prix CIFFT Circuit, in conjunction with the CIFFT “People’s Choice” Award, is considered the biggest competition in the travel video marketing industry, and your vote can make a difference in choosing the best.”

The video that gets the most votes will be awarded with the title of the World´s Best Tourism Film - CIFFT “People´s Choice” Award. The winner will be announced on 26th October on the CIFFT website and social media networks.
