Turkey is also the home of the International Tourism Film Festival. Founded in 2016, it is a cultural event for tourism films and travel videos that takes place annually in Cappadocia. The region is renowned for its cultural wealth, fairytale scenery, remarkable rock formations and hot air balloons.
The International Tourism Film Festival aims to help tourism films to find a broader international audience. The video competition is dedicated to Promotional Films and Advertising Campaigns in six thematic categories: Tourism Destination Cities, Regions, Countries, Tourism Services, Tourism Products, and Independent Travel Videos.
During the festival days, the participants can enjoy diverse cultural experiences, as film screenings, workshops, forums, city tours, and a prestigious Award Ceremony with an astonishing view in Cappadocia.
The International Tourism Film Festival is an official member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), which brings together the 14 World’s Best Tourism Film Festivals from four continents at the most prestigious awards and recognition initiative in the Travel Video Marketing Industry - The World’s Best Tourism Film Awards.
