The unique Cappadocia
Turkey is a modern country with a captivating blend of antiquity and contemporary and East and West. It is a truly fascinating country and a great place to visit culturally and historically.
Cappadocia is the name given to that triangle of land that lies between Nevsehir, Nigde and Aksaray. The area is one of Turkey’s most popular tourist destinations, as it has many areas with unique geological, historical and cultural features.
The land of fairy tales, mysterious and enchanting, Cappadocia offers visitors a landscape of natural wonders that seems sprung from a dream. Incredible formations of volcanic rock, underground cities and unique valleys make it more than natural beauty.
Spend a night in an elegantly renovated cave house, explore the ancient underground cities where thousands of people lived, take a sunrise balloon ride over the fairy chimneys. Prepare to be enchanted by the marvellous blend of cultural history and natural beauty. (In: www.goturkeytourism.com)
