Tourism Videos alongside the best global advertising at the 2021 NYF Storytellers Gala

On October 12th, the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards revealed the 2021 Storytellers Gala award winners. The virtual event honoured unique content created by global storytellers from more than 40 countries. In the Corporate Image Category, 15 tourism videos that integrated the CIFFT Circuit were featured with Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals and Finalist Certificates.

Since 1990, New York Festivals TV & Film Awards has been an official member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT). The membership reinforces the potential of creativity in tourism communication, positioning promotional videos from tourism destinations, products and services alongside the best global advertising.

This year, the productions “Attica. Greece in a Snapshot” (Greece), “Chasing Lines” (South Africa), “Seek Different” (Australia) and “The Perfect Proposal” (Greece) were acclaimed by the Grand Jury with the prestigious Gold Medals.

The tourism videos “Extremadura, everything you can imagine, where you wouldn’t imagine it” (Spain) and “Much more than “just” Denmark” (Denmark) achieved Silver Medals.

The Bronze Medals went to “Kitzbühel 365 - NEW Worlds, NEW Cosms, NEW Wonders” (Austria), Nature & Me (Montenegro), “South Australia: hear it, touch it, see it to believe” (Australia) and “Vilnius: amazing wherever you think it is” (Lithuania).

Finalist Certificates also have been assigned to “Experience Rindal - Story of the Rindalsbunad” (Norway), “The Algarve looks good on you” (Portugal), “There Will Be Time” (Portugal), “Tortosa, a lifetime to come a second to fall in love” ( Spain) and “Vienna Sleeping Beauty - Sunrise” (Austria).

The 2021 TV & Film Awards were highly competitive, and compelling content from around the world impressed the Grand Jury, which awarded 126 Gold World Medals, 136 Silver World Medals and 124 Bronze World Medals.

Winning entries showcased passionate and innovative storytelling that engaged viewers in a diverse number of genres, including Entertainment, Documentaries, Journalism, Sports, Promos, and Corporate Image Films.
