Synopsis
Join Grammy-nominated Zydeco artist Sean Ardoin through unique musical landscapes, exploring the impact of local food, culture, and history. Episode one follows Sean’s return to Southwest Louisiana, talking with Sweet Cecilia, Herman Fuselier, and Chris Ardoin. Episode two continues in Shreveport, meeting AJ Haynes, Alex Smith, and enjoying a backyard crawfish boil/concert with Kenny Neal. Episode three concludes in New Orleans with the Greg Stafford Quartet, Flagboy Giz, and Aurora Nealand.

Goals of the film
“Amplify” is an ongoing anthology series that explores how history, culture, community, and art shape music. “Amplify” tells raw and authentic stories at the nexus of key musicians while highlighting historical and current music venues along the Louisiana Music Trail. Odyssey Studios approached Louisiana Office of Tourism, noting few states have such unique musical flavors. The series celebrates Louisiana’s rich musical heritage, spotlighting both its storied past and vibrant present.
