Goals of the film
By introducing the history of the sugar factory in Pingtung’s County Park, the film piques the public’s interest in the park’s history and the culture of the sugar industry. We persuade tourists to visit Pingtung, the place that once supported half the country’s economy during the agricultural boom. We also showcase the public facilities and installation arts that have been transformed from sugar factory and pulp mill structures. With the visual impact of the natural environment contrasts with industrial structures, we aim to attract tourists to visit Pingtung City.
