TIROL FROM ABOVE is an aerial short film portraying the beauty of Tirol – the Heart of the Alps: the viewer is taken on an emotional flight across the stunning and impressive mountainscape highlighting glaciers, summits, valleys, lakes and rivers in summer and winter. But the film includes various examples of architecture like mountain huts, castles and churches set into the alpine region, too. This combination expresses the relation between alpine wilderness and structures built by local people over the last centuries. The music „ A Silent Prayer“ by Danielle Barrett was selected very carefully to underline the divine and meditative experience which can be made while exploring and discovering the world of mountains.
