Editor, teacher, and consultant R. Ruschel is the Editorial Director of Essential Idea Editora (publishing house) in São Paulo, Brazil, and works proposing the inclusion of products with Geographical Indications as a central part of tourism itineraries.
After graduating in Communications, he took more than 60 improvement and specialization courses, including “Adding Value to the Origin of Products Through Geographical Indications (GIs)” from the ITC SME Trade Academy in Geneva, Switzerland.
A journalist specializing in tourism with identity and products with Geographical Indication - GI, has given more than 50 lectures in several countries and is the author of 9 books, including “The Global Value of the Local Product – Territorial Identity as a Marketing Strategy,” by Editora Senac from Sao Paulo.
Senior executive in international advertising agencies, including the Ogilvy Group, in 1989 created Ruschel & Associados, a pioneering consultancy in corporate sustainability in South America. Professor for 20 years at the Postgraduate Course at ESPM-SP.
