Michelle Janke is Regional Director for Europe at the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), where she supports the advancement of sustainable tourism standards, training, destination assessment, industry engagement, and strategic partnerships across Europe. Her work includes collaborating with destination management organizations, tourism businesses, public-sector stakeholders, and other partners to strengthen the adoption and practical application of the GSTC Standards.
Michelle brings extensive experience in strategy, organizational development, and tourism, including previous work with McKinsey & Company, Walt Disney Attractions, and as Managing Partner of Coraggio Group. She holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
