The Centro Portugal Film Commission announced that the 17th edition of ART&TUR – International Tourism Film Festival, one of the most recognized tourism film festivals globally, will take place in the village of Lousã, Portugal, between the 22nd and 25th of October 2024.

The participants of the ART&TUR Festival will get to know the best hospitality in Lousã, a village in the middle of the mountains of Serra da Lousã, with the best gastronomy, natural biodiversity, and astonishing landscape.

In partnership with the Tourism Center of Portugal, Lousã City Council, Cine-Teatro da Lousã, and several local institutions, the 17^th ART&TUR is already being prepared. It intends to be dedicated to cultural themes that focus on the scope of humanities and common heritage, proposing different challenges in the sphere of cultural promotion and tourism, which will involve several competitions simultaneously, namely promotional films and documentaries done after 1^st January 2023 will be applying for:

• Award for best tourism film worldwide (ART&TUR Global);
• Award for best national film (ART&TUR Portugal);
• Award for the best audiovisual about Lousã (ART&FACTORY);

The ART&TUR festival, an official member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), contributes to positioning the best video marketing strategies at the global level, getting together for four days the best audiovisual producers and tourism specialists from all over the world.
