The tourism and media professional will support CIFFT’s engagement with destinations and industry partners across the region.

Vienna, October 14, 2026 – The International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) has appointed Dalton Zahir as its Ambassador for Asia.

With more than 25 years of experience in tourism, hospitality and media, Dalton brings extensive knowledge of the Asian tourism industry and destination promotion. He founded several travel and media platforms, including Travellerkey, Europekey, TravellerTimes and Welcome Bangladesh, and serves as a Director of the Tourism Developers Association of Bangladesh.

“Mr. Zahir’s appointment reflects CIFFT’s commitment to strengthening its presence in Asia and fostering closer cooperation” said Alexander V. Kammel, CIFFT Director.

In his new role, Dalton will support dialogue between CIFFT and tourism boards, creative agencies, production companies and media professionals throughout Asia. He will also help bring greater attention to regional films and campaigns within the CIFFT Circuit.
